Kym passes on tips. At the County Squad coaching session on 6th Dec, Kym Larratt of the Ladies European Tour, talked about her practice regime and the girls had their swing compared to Kym's via the computer. Kym is off to Australia before Christmas. We wish her the best of luck.

Alice Watson was announced as the County Girls Captain for 2012 at the annual Presentation Evening. Alice (Park Hill & Rothley Park)is a twice winner of the Girls Championships (2009 &10) and players at no.1 or 2 in the girls team. She is also a member of the ladies second team squad. Alice has already announced the date for her County Captain's Day (14th Aug at Park Hill), so put the date in your diary. Harriet Hewitt (Glen Gorse) will be her vice captain.  We wish them both a really enjoyable and successful year.

Presentation Evening a great success. Over 60 girls, parents, volunteers and supporters attended the evening at Forest Hill Golf Club on 23rd November. Kym Larratt (Kibworth GC and Ladies European Tour player) was the guest of honour and re-presented the major trophies from the year. Awards were also made for most improved players to Kate Frankham (Lutterworth), Laura Taylor (Willesley Park) & Charlotte Bowers (Market Harborough).

Ellie York (Forest Hill) received her county colours. Kym then held a Q&A session which lasted over half an hour. There were lots of questions, especially from our two youngest players Bethany Swain and Abigail Wilkin.
